2 Cilinder Object

 

Voorstel voor een sculptuur voor Rotterdam, gepresenteerd op de tentoonstelling: Triënnale Noord Nederland , Groninger Museum, Groningen, 1988.

 

De toevoeging van het 2 Cilinder Objekt aan Rotterdam zou betekenen dat hiermee een visueel middelpunt ontstaat in de Maas; daar waar de Maas zichtbaar en voelbaar op zijn breedst is, markeert het beeld het centrum van Rotterdam.

 

In 1996 is op deze lokatie de Erasmusbrug gerealiseerd.

 

 

 

2 Cylinder Sculpture,

By adding the 2 Cylinder Sculpture to Rotterdam , it should mean the creation of a visual centre point in the Maas; right on the spot where the Maas is at its widest , visually and perceptibly, the sculpture marking the centre of Rotterdam .

 

In 1996 the Erasmus bridge was built on this location.
